Job Title: Delivery Assistant Location: Lakewood, NJ Type: Contract To Hire Compensation: $17 per hour Contractor Work Model: Onsite Hours: Add the job’s scheduled days and times (delete if not needed) Security Clearance: List security clearance requirements (delete if not needed) Delivery Driver Assistant Responsibilities: + Helps load truck with wooden construction material (prefabricated wooden product and drywall sheets) + Uses forklift and pallet jack to move materials and load trucks + Accurately picks customer orders, ensures accuracy + Assists driver with delivery + Carries up to 100lbs with help + Participates in multi-person lifts to deliver items to construction sites Delivery Driver Requirements: + Must speak fluent English + Must be able to lift 100lbs with little to no assistance + Must be able to frequently lift, carry, bend, stoop, walk, climb ladder and other physical labor + Must be able to consistently work 7:00 AM - 3:30/5:00 PM. Often our trucks are not back to the shop by 3:30 PM (OT). Must wear work boots.
