Description Responsible for supporting the strategic and business planning processes through establishing and managing the activities required to maintain the data sets needed for preparation of reports and analyses used in planning effortsThis position is the point person for providing and analyzing data required in planning effortsFacilitates achievement of key strategic initiatives and business development through data analysis and decision supportManages internal and external data sets and toolsSupports management of vendor relationships with data suppliersDevelops and maintains detailed knowledge of data set structure and elements/fields including source of data, field definitions (e.g., cross references for codes), reliability of data field, and appropriate fields to use for various analysesSummarizes data and highlight key strategic implications of data to assist decision-makersDocuments source of data and parameters of data selection in workpapersDevelops systematic approaches to downstream analysisFunctions as an advisor to other departments for similar data reportingProvides and manages training process for tools and resources to SPO members as approppriateMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree preferred (MHA, MHSA, MBA, MPH) with a minimum of six years in a decision support role, preferably with focus in healthcareMust be proficient in MicroSoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, and PowerpointMust have expert skills in AccessMust have understanding of planning databases and data resources and be able to use as appropriateJOIN OUR TEAM TODAY!
