**Job Title: Debug Technician**
**Job Description**
We are hiring multiple Debug Technicians in the North Austin area. This is an entry-level position with an opportunity to grow your career with a global company. You will start at an hourly rate of $20.50 and have the potential to go direct after nine months of reliable performance with the team.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform probe tests when presented with a part.
+ Use hand tools and interpret engineering drawings to assess product quality.
+ Conduct various tests including engineering testing, checkout, first article inspection, root cause analysis, internal corrective actions, and supplier corrective actions.
+ Document pass/fail results.
+ Evaluate data and write reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
+ Prepare graphs or charts of data or enter data into a computer for analysis using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint as needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1+ years of experience as an electrical/debug technician in a manufacturing environment.
+ Experience working with tools such as multimeters, test probes, and oscilloscopes for electromechanical testing.
+ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
+ Associates Degree or electronics certification.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds consistently.
+ Comfortable with repetitive motion.
+ Exposure to some toxic chemicals or fumes.
+ Specific vision requirements including close-up, color, and depth perception.
+ Ability to interpret a variety of instructions.
+ Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

**Work Environment**
This role is on the manufacturing floor, requiring a significant amount of standing. The shift options are 0700am-0330pm M-F and 330pm-12am M-F. The work environment may involve exposure to some toxic chemicals or fumes and requires the ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds consistently.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, Texas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr.
