Here, you’ll have the tools and opportunities to advance your career while creating software that changes the world. **Your role and responsibilities** As a Dealmaker for the Software Portfolio, you will address clients' business needs and deliver client value while supporting the strategy of the entire Cloud and Cognitive Software portfolio. You will lead planning sessions and large deal designs to drive Enterprise License Agreement (ELA) closures and increase IBM's footprint and market share. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Drive Business Strategies: Lead planning sessions with sales teams to identify specific business strategies, focusing on increasing IBM's footprint and market share across single or multiple business units and geographies. • Deliver Client Value: Address clients' business needs and deliver value while maintaining equity and consistency based on client commitment, critical to ELA success. • Negotiate ELA Closures: Conduct negotiations to drive ELA closures, ensuring alignment with the overall Cloud and Cognitive Software portfolio strategy. • Collaborate with Sales Teams: Work closely with sales teams to design and implement large deals that meet clients' business needs and support IBM's growth objectives. • Maintain Equity and Consistency: Ensure that client commitments are met while maintaining equity and consistency, essential for ELA success. **Required technical and professional expertise** • Deep Expertise in Cloud and Cognitive Software: Experience with the entire Cloud and Cognitive Software portfolio, including Cloud Platform, Data and AI, Automation, AI Applications, and Security, with the ability to support its overall strategy. • Proven Negotiation Skills: Experience with conducting negotiations to drive Enterprise License Agreement (ELA) closures, with a focus on delivering client value and maintaining equity and consistency. • Large Deal Design Experience: Experience with designing and implementing large deals that meet clients' business needs and support growth objectives, across single or multiple business units and geographies. • Business Strategy Development: Experience with leading planning sessions to identify specific business strategies that increase footprint and market share. • Client Value Delivery: Experience with addressing clients' business needs and delivering value while maintaining equity and consistency based on client commitment. **Preferred technical and professional experience** • Cloud and Cognitive Software Knowledge: Deep understanding of Cloud Platform, Data and AI, Automation, AI Applications, and Security, with the ability to support the overall strategy of the Cloud and Cognitive Software portfolio. • ELA Negotiation Expertise: Proven ability to conduct negotiations to drive Enterprise License Agreement (ELA) closures, delivering client value and maintaining equity and consistency. • Large Deal Design Expertise: Experience with designing and implementing large deals that meet clients' business needs and support growth objectives across multiple business units and geographies.
