Trane Technologies is seeking a Distribution Center Transformation Change Agent to support distribution and warehouse operations by leading the identification, prioritization, testing, and implementation of Operational and Warehouse Management System process improvements. This role is responsible for helping accelerate business value through faster deployment of high-impact systems and process enhancements that improve safety, quality, delivery, inventory accuracy, productivity, and cost.

The ideal candidate will combine operational knowledge, process improvement capability, and systems aptitude to work effectively across Distribution Center Operations, Operational Excellence, and IT. This role will help translate business needs into practical solutions, coordinate user acceptance testing, support change implementation, and drive faster realization of project benefits.

What you will do:

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Partner with DC operations, IT, and Operational Excellence to identify, evaluate, and prioritize WMS enhancement opportunities based on business value, operational impact, and implementation readiness.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Document current-state processes, pain points, system gaps, and future-state requirements to support effective solution design and implementation.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Support development of business cases for process improvements, including labor productivity, service, inventory, quality, and cost impacts.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Coordinate and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for enhancements, ensuring test scenarios reflect real operational conditions and business requirements.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Work with site leaders, supervisors, SMEs, and system partners to validate proposed changes before deployment and reduce post-go-live disruption.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Help develop implementation plans, training materials, standard work, and communication plans to support successful rollout and adoption of new processes and system capabilities.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Monitor deployment progress, track issues and open items, and help drive timely resolutions to support stable implementation.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Measure and report results of implemented changes, including delivery cycle improvements, adoption, productivity gains, quality improvements, and financial benefits.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Support standardization of processes across the distribution network where appropriate, while aligning with site operational needs.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between operations and IT to improve clarity of requirements, speed of decision-making, and overall execution.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Assist with root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities related to process performance, transaction accuracy, workflow execution, and exception management.

What you will bring:

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Minimum of\u00A03 years of experience\u00A0in distribution, warehouse operations, supply chain, operational excellence, business systems, or continuous improvement roles.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems, warehouse processes, inventory control, or distribution operations.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Demonstrated ability to support process improvement, project implementation, testing, or cross-functional business initiatives.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Experience participating in or coordinating user acceptance testing, process validation, SOP development, or operational rollout activities preferred.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Working knowledge of continuous improvement and problem-solving methods such as process mapping, root cause analysis, standard work, waste elimination, and structured improvement.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate process issues, interpret data, and support practical solutions.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with frontline teams, supervisors, managers, and cross-functional partners.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, track actions, and support execution against timelines.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Visio or other process-mapping tools preferred.
