**Grow into Leadership with Ferguson – Start in Our Distribution Center Training Program**
At Ferguson, we believe in developing future leaders from the ground up. That’s why we’re hiring **a** **Distribution Center Trainee** . We’re looking for a motivated individual who’s ready to gain hands-on experience and grow their leadership skills in operations and supply chain management. We’re hiring now and are open to start dates effective immediately or through the end of December 2025.
**How We Train You**
In this entry-level training program, you'll invest in your personal and professional development while gaining real-world experience. Over approximately 12 months, you’ll train at our **Lebanon, TN distribution center** (in the greater Nashville area) and area Ferguson locations.
During this time, you’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of distribution center and warehouse operations, and you'll have the opportunity to contribute your ideas and drive improvements in our fast-paced environment.
**What Happens After Training**
Once you successfully complete the program, you’ll transition into a supervisory or management role at one of Ferguson’s distribution centers or large branch warehouses, within the states of AL, KY, LA, MS, TN, or TX. Your final location and position will be determined based on both your preferences and business needs. You’ll be prepared to lead a team, support multiple supply chain functions, and drive operational excellence as you grow your career with Ferguson.
**What You Need to Succeed**
+ Demonstrates alignment with Ferguson’s core values: safety, integrity, teamwork, impact, and service
+ Willingness to travel within the region and work flexible or varying shifts
+ Maintains a strong safety-first approach in all tasks
+ Comfortable working at heights up to 30 feet
+ Physically able to bend, twist, stretch, push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs
+ Able to stand and/or walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
+ Ability to work in a warehousing environment, including exposure to varying temperatures
+ Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
+ Brings accountability and a creative approach to problem-solving
+ A desire to grow into a leadership role, with a focus on coaching and developing others
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management (equivalent degree accepted) or 4+ years of related military experience
+ Internship and/or work experience in a supply chain or related field
