Job Description:

A shipping auditor is responsible for taking a random sample of the store orders that are shipped from the distribution center as well as identifying any pallets that have been let down incorrectly. In doing this the auditor will check for picking and letdown errors, document any errors that are discovered and oversee  the correction of any such product. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

Sample store orders for errors  Oversee the correction of any errors. Report to management descriptions and manufacturer codes that do not match the picking label. Suggest to management any items that should be reassigned to prevent picking errors. Notify management of selectors that are not labeling cases, that are putting several labels on one case and of any pallets discovered in the wrong pick or reserve slots.  Sample letdowns for errors. Check quality of product being shipped, removing any bad or damaged product and replacing it.  Check code dates on perishable items.  Assist order selectors and help them to be more accurate.  Pull all Pharmacy store orders as well as audit orders. 

Collect and document data for the following fields:

Order Selector name Warehouse (201.202.203.204.205 or 206) Store number  Container number Number of cases sampled  Number of errors discovered  Product needed versus product selected.

Collect and document data for the following fields:

Forklift drivers name. Warehouse (201.202.203.204.205. or 206) Wave # Location of pallet versus intended location. Number of pallets audited.  Check for damage, position and poorly positioned pallets. 

 

Performs other duties as needed or assigned by management. Must be at least 18-years old.
