Your day to day:

As our DBA Engineer, you will ensure the technical functionality and performance of the database systems and collaborate with other DBAs across multiple teams.

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:

•    You will provide support and work toward solving incidents/doing current tasks/solving issues and problems with the purpose of ensuring agreed SLA. 
•    Regular patching to ensure the database’s best performance and to reduce security issues are the main activities performed on regular basis.
•    Developing scripts/programs (Bash, Python, SQL, PL/SQL, TSQL, Perl,  etc.) that help expand the functionalities of IT solutions and automate recurring activities will also be one of the main activities. 
•    You will also perform proactive maintenance activities based on information from tools and automated alerts and notifications and provide active support for transformation programs and other technology refresh programs that are designed to ensure/increase service availability and reduce downtime and increase the quality / performance of these services.

With these skills you are a great candidate:

•    Experience in supporting Oracle Databases > 4 years
•    Good knowledge and hands-on with Oracle database administration 
•    Knowledge and other database technologies such as MySQL, Cassandra, Mongo DB is nice to have
•    Unix/Linux previous experience needed
•    Advanced knowledge of office systems and IT equipment (hardware and software)
•    Solid documentation and problem-solving capabilities
•    Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines for execution
•    Well organized, good at setting priorities and rigorous
•    Manage multiple requests effectively;
•    Focused on obtaining results
•    Ability to work in remote and distributed teams
•    Customer oriented; ability to positively influence customer experience
•    English (written and spoken) – fluent
