Job Duties Under direct supervision, assists in providing application expertise and any other special technical data to business development, application engineering, and/or operations to support bit and/or service applications. Provides technical and operational expertise to customers in a professional manner. Performs assignments requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles as the lead man on drilling services application. Assists as the lead field professional in the delivery of our drilling services, coring and hole enlargement activities. This role assists in pre-planning, and post job analysis with the service coordinators and business segment managers. Participates in developmental programs to accelerate learning. Requires ability to interpret well site data. Typical requirements include a degree in Engineering or relevant field experience. Certification as an Engineer-in-Training is desirable. Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines. Promotes and takes an active part in the quality improvement process.
