**What You'll Be Doing**
+ Lead daily operations of the sand and gravel plant to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency
+ Supervise and coordinate the activities of plant personnel during the day shift
+ Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime
+ Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations
+ Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production and reduce costs

+ Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a production environment
+ Strong understanding of aggregate plant operations and equipment
+ Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
+ Effective communication and problem-solving skills
+ Capability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks
**Essential Experience and Skills**
+ Mechanical aptitude preferred
+ Aggregate production experience and at least 3 years in a supervisory role within a related industry
+ Strong leadership abilities with clear, concise, and respectful communication skills
+ Ability to maintain composure and professionally present information, responding effectively to questions
+ Motivation and adaptability to work in a dynamic environment with fluctuating shift schedules, extensive movement across the plant, and occasional lifting of heavy objects and working in confined spaces
**Work Environment**
This role is based at a sand and gravel plant and involves working in outdoor and industrial settings. The position requires physical activity, including walking on uneven terrain, climbing stairs/ladders, and exposure to varying weather conditions and noise levels.
**Physical Demands of the Job**
+ Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods
+ Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
+ Frequent exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures
+ Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required
+ Ability to operate and inspect heavy equipment and machinery safely
