Day Porter Lead
Job Summary Details:

The Day Porter Lead s responsible for giving direction, motivation, and guidance to a team of cleaners. They will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in high-traffic areas such as lobbies, restrooms, and common spaces. They will perform cleaning tasks, including wiping surfaces, emptying trash bins, and restocking supplies. The role requires responding promptly to cleaning and maintenance requests throughout the day. Additionally, the Day Porter will assist with the setup and breakdown of meetings or events as needed, ensure that building entrances and walkways remain clean and free of debris, and report any facility issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.

Shift: 6am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday

Pay: 19.50

Basic Qualifications:
  •  Must be 18 years of age or older •  No high school diploma, GED or college degree required •  Customer Service Experience   •  One (1) year of similar work experience
  Responsibilities:
  •  Provide leadership and direction to team members  •  Relay communication between team members, client, customers and management  •  Report performance issues to the Supervisor •  Assist with the training of cleaning team •  Coordinate work assignments  •  Assist with making daily and weekly work schedules  •  Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned building  •  Manage security of keys and access cards for the property  •  Report work orders for maintenance •  Makes sure premises are secured at all times  •  Work with Manager to schedule jobs with Property Manager and cleaning crew to complete the work.  •  Oversees quality of jobs and confirms completion with Manager.  •  Provide training to all new hires assigned to the building  •  Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.  •  Complete order forms completely and accurately.  •  Coordinate equipment usage and inventories.
