Job Title: Day Porter 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform and document daily inspections of the building’s interior and exterior spaces Perform general janitorial duties Trash collection and disposal Restroom cleaning & stocking Mopping/buffing of hard service floors Vacuuming Dusting Daily disinfection of common touch points Stock and maintain inventory of supplies and consumables Spot cleaning as required Provide cleaning to clinical areas following all related policies and procedures Assist with general building repairs (ie: change light bulbs, restock consumables) Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

2-4 Years minimum experience in janitorial services Potential candidate would preferably have background cleaning in a clinical/healthcare environment. Clean driving record Ability to read, write and understand English Excellent customer service skills in dealing with staff Ability to operate a variety of common cleaning machines, i.e., vacuums, floor scrubbers/buffers, etc., as well as use common hand tools

Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheet

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies

Reliability and Punctuality in all weather conditions

Preferable candidate will have basic technical abilities to send emails, fill out reports and use CMMS WO system

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
