As part of the Thales group’s Business Intelligence platform, the platform’s build and run team is looking for a DataOps with knowledge of Business Intelligence on these Microsoft cloud / non-cloud environments involving technologies: SQL Server, SSAS, PowerBI Report Server / Cloud. The mission will aim to ensure the continuous improvement of the BI platform with its thousands of daily users.

Job Description:

User support

Provide functional and technical assistance to BI platform users through the management of ITSM ticketsAnalyze platform requests and impactsPropose continuous improvement solutions

Maintenance in operational condition

Monitor the performance of SQL Server databases and BI tools to ensure availability and performance.Manage the installations, updates, and patches of the different components of the platform (SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, Power BI Report Server).Diagnose and resolve incidents affecting the platform.

Data security:

Implement and maintain security controls to protect sensitive data.Manage user access to the platform in accordance with platform and regulatory security policies.Conduct regular security and systems compliance audits using platform security reports.

Requirements:

Proficiency in SQL Server (administration, optimization).Expertise in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).In‑depth knowledge of Power BI Cloud & Report Server (deployment, security management, report creation).Scripting skills (PowerShell, T‑SQL).Strong problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication skills.Ability to work in a team and interact with various IT teams.Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or equivalent, 3‑year degree).Proven prior experience in a similar role of at least 4 years or in Data Ops, ideally at least 2 years.
