This role requires deep expertise in both SQL Server and PostgreSQL, AWS database migration services, and the ability to execute large-scale, zero-downtime migrations while maintaining data integrity and application performance. Skills and Requirements - 5+ years of hands-on SQL Server experience (2012-2022) - Proven experience with AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) - Hands-on experience with AWS Schema Conversion Tool (SCT) - Led at least one large-scale SQL Server to PostgreSQL migration (500+ databases) - Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture and query planner - Experience with RDS Proxy or connection pooling solutions - Understanding of PostgreSQL performance tuning (EXPLAIN, pg_stat_statements) - Experience working with .NET applications and Entity Framework Core
