This role is ideal for someone with foundational experience in database administration and a passion for solving complex data challenges. **Key Responsibilities** + Assist with database design and modifications to address processing issues, considering system capacity and performance goals. + Administer, monitor, and tune production databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability. + Set up and maintain development, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production database environments. + Implement robust backup and recovery procedures to safeguard data. + Participate in database analysis and design reviews to meet operational standards (e.g., response time, query execution). + Contribute to tasks such as denormalization, data archival planning, sizing, DDL creation, referential integrity enforcement, and application optimization. **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience. + Minimum of 1 year of experience in database administration. + Strong analytical skills and ability to resolve non-routine issues. + Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in team environments.
