What you’ll be able to do: 

Reporting to the EVDD Strategic Operations Manager, you will lead a small team of highly skilled, self-motivated, experienced and networked individuals, responsible for transforming complex data into compelling, easy-to-understand visual stories that drive business insights and decision making.  This role requires strong expertise in data visualization tools, a solid understanding of data analytics principles, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to deliver accurate and actionable dashboards and reports.

 

Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or similar platforms Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements, KPIs and reporting needs Ensure data accuracy, integrity and consistency across all visualizations Apply data storytelling techniques to make insights clear, actionable and accessible to non-technical audiences Optimize visualizations for performance and usability, ensuring a positive user experience Partner with data engineers and analysts to ensure proper data modeling and efficient query performance Stay up-to-date on emerging visualization tools, trends, and best practices to continuously enhance reporting capabilities Conduct quality assurance and validation of all reports and dashboards prior to deployment Provide training and documentation for stakeholders on how to interpret and use dashboards effectively

 

Minimum Requirements we seek:

Bachelors' degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field 2+ years of demonstrated experience in data visualization, business intelligence or analytics roles Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Looker, etc.) Strong knowledge of SQL and ability to work with relational databases Demonstrated experience with data storytelling and ability to communicate complex data concepts clearly Understanding of data governance, data integrity, and performance optimization Demonstrated complex project management and organizational skills Demonstrated ability to think critically, processing and analyzing complex information while considering different perspectives, driving high quality solutions Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate complex concepts into actionable plans A Bias for action, driving items to closure without sacrificing quality or timeliness Strong communication and collaboration abilities Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy Creative and analytical mindset for designing impactful visualizations

 

Our Preferred Requirements:

Experience working in Automotive/Manufacturing Industry Data-driven decision-making style with significant experience working with a variety of data structures and proven ability to synthesize “the signal from the noise”, and apply these insights to key decisions Comfort with ambiguity – demonstrated ability to structure an approach to complex problems and drive clarity on solutions  Ability to effortlessly flex and utilize strategic thinking skills, systems thinking skills, and attention-to-detail  Background in UX/UI design principles for dashboards Ability to use high levels of tech to improve efficiency and productivity – be on the leading edge of technology adoption
