Job Description

We are seeking a Data Systems Engineering intern to support on-site IT initiatives at our Plymouth, Michigan office.  During this internship, your key responsibilities will include: 

Support data ingest, storage, and transfer activitiesArchival data compression and transfer from NAS (network attached storage)Assist with the management and upkeep of our business unit's server rooms at the Plymouth facilitySupport technical vehicle data management software developmentSupport IT cost savings initiatives

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: 

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Systems, Mathematics or a related fieldStrong written and verbal communication skillsBasic understanding of computer hardware and software and networkingProficiency in Microsoft Office SuitePrior exposure to cloud computeMinimum GPA of 3.0Ability to commit to a minimum 6-month internship period (20 hours per week)This role will be in Plymouth, MI.
