About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Data Support Analyst to join our team and provide technical support for our Dynamics 365 (D365) environment.
· You will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and resolving data-related issues across multiple platforms including D365, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, and associated ETL pipelines.
· As a Data Support Analyst, you will work closely with business analysts, developers, and data engineers to ensure the integrity and performance of our enterprise data systems.
· You will help drive data reliability and quality across operational and reporting layers including Power BI, SSRS, and SQL Server.
· This role is ideal for someone passionate about troubleshooting, data architecture, and continuous improvement in a cloud-integrated environment.
Primary Responsibilities of the Data Support Analyst,
Troubleshoot and resolve data issues related to Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O), including batch jobs, data syncs, and integrations.
· Monitor and maintain ETL pipelines and dataflows across Azure Data Lake, Synapse, and Databricks.
· Collaborate with BI teams to support Power BI dashboards, D365 analytical workspaces, and SSRS/SSIS reports.
· Perform root cause analysis and provide timely resolutions for failed data loads or latency issues.
· Assist with maintaining data quality, validation processes, and master data integrity.
· Document technical support processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
· Support change management and deployment processes using Azure DevOps or Lifecycle Services (LCS).
· Analyze system logs and performance metrics to proactively identify potential issues.
Required Qualifications of the Data Support Analyst,
· 3+ years supporting data environments in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O).
· Hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake, Databricks, and Power BI.
· Proficiency in SQL Server, including stored procedures, views, and complex queries.
· Experience with SSIS and SSRS for report development and maintenance.
· Familiarity with ETL concepts, data warehousing, and troubleshooting data integration workflows.
· Understanding of Azure DevOps pipelines, lifecycle services (LCS), or similar ALM tools.
Preferred Qualifications of the Data Support Analyst,
· Experience with Microsoft Azure Synapse, Logic Apps, and Data Factory.
· Knowledge of D365 Data Management Framework and Electronic Reporting (ER).
· Exposure to CI/CD practices and Git version control.
· Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals or equivalent Azure Data certifications.
· Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
