We are looking for a passionate Data Scientist Trainee who is eager to kickstart their career and take on a new challenge! This is a part-time, fixed term position (up to 0.8 FTE, up to 12 months) enabling you to get into the world of serious Data Science projects.
P&G Scaled Data Science Hub in Warsaw is dynamically growing and making an impact across key algorithmic investments of the Company. We work on various problems and algorithmic products related to Retail, Media, Digital commerce, R&D, Supply Chain, Productivity, Knowledge management, and more.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn about a specific business area and support algorithmic model needs. Our work spans traditional machine learning, deep learning, GenAI, optimization models, and statistical models, with a focus on understanding and addressing real-world problems.

Collaborate with product teams and business leaders to gain insights into the problems at hand, and work with AI & data engineering teams to support the automation and deployment of models.Assist in developing insights to contribute to the algorithmic evolution roadmap in your area of interest.Analyze data sets and learn how to translate consumer behaviors into actionable recommendations.Explore and apply machine learning techniques and algorithms to address business questions and propose solutions (the key focus for this traineeship with be GenAI).Gain a deeper understanding of machine learning, statistics, optimization, GenAI, and other advanced analytical models as they relate to real-world applications.Learn what it takes to build and maintain a resilient algorithmic pipeline, and understand how to measure an algorithm's impact and value.Write production-level code following best practices and improve your programming skills.Job Qualifications
3rd, 4th, 5th year students or graduates - with a real passion for data science or related field; (Data Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Math, Economics etc).Prior internships in data science or algorithmically enabled applications or involvement in data science projects preferred.Familiarity and hands-on exposure to GenAI topics.Familiarity with Cloud Infrastructure (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform) is advantageous.Intermediate coding skills in Python; knowledge of Spark is a plus.Strong analytical skills (e.g., SQL, optimization, simulation, predictive modeling) are desirable.A willingness to learn and adapt, with a passion for problem-solving.Strong collaboration skills and comfort working in diverse teams.Nice to Have:
Exposure to Big Data ecosystems (e.g., Databricks, Spark, BigQuery) is a plus.Understanding of Business Intelligence Tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.Familiarity with Agile DevOps practices, and tools like GitHub, Jira, and Confluence would be advantageous.
