As a Data Scientist Associate within the Data and Analytics Team, you will leverage data-driven insights to improve technology efficiency and the developer experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable analytics that drive business outcomes and support the firm’s strategic objectives.

Job responsibilities

Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business objectives into data-driven solutionsAnalyze large and complex data sets to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in the product development life cycleDevelop and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms to forecast product performance and operational processesDesign and conduct experiments to validate model outcomes and ensure accuracyCreate and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and insightsStay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data scienceContribute to a collaborative and innovative team environment

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or a related fieldThree years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related role.Proficiency in data analytics and visualization techniques such as SQL, Python, and Tableau, and experience with data warehousing technologies like Snowflake, Databricks, or RedshiftExpertise in machine learning techniques, statistical modeling, and data miningAbility to tackle unstructured problems and learn quicklyExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to derive actionable insights from complex data setsStrong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Experience with Agile methodologies and proficiency in Atlassian tools such as Jira and Jira AlignFamiliarity with analytics engineering tools like dbt and AirflowUnderstanding of DevEx metrics and software deployment pipelinesExperience with AI technologies, including prompt engineering and proof-of-concept developmentExperience preferably within financial services or technology
