This is an opportunity to join a talented team that engages with stakeholders across the organization, develops long-term sales forecasts that inform leadership decision-making, and leads high-visibility projects that shape GM’s future. **What You’ll Do:** + Apply data science and modeling techniques to solve complex business problems, streamline processes, and inform decision-making + Push the bounds of traditional methods with innovative approaches + Preprocess structured and unstructured data + Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns + Craft ad-hoc reports and share findings and recommendations with business partners + Contribute to special projects that receive high visibility + Continuous improvement of processes, methodologies, and tools **Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):** **​​** + Bachelor’s degree required with a major in Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent training + 5 or more years proficiency in applying analytics to Forecasting, Planning, Sales/Marketing, Market/Customer Research, Finance, or equivalent field is preferred + Proficiency in analytical languages/databases/tools such as Python, SQL, NoSQL(Hadoop, Casandra), Knime, Databricks, Tableau, and Power BI + Statistical regression modeling, probability analysis, and risk analysis is preferred + Proven track record of applied analytics + Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once without sacrificing quality + Strong listening and communications skills + Highly collaborative work style + Creative problem-solving + Excellent judgement and ability to see the big picture + Strong attention to detail **What Can Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):** + Master’s degree preferred + Automotive industry knowledge preferred This job is not eligible for relocation benefits.
