The Data Scientist uses mathematics, statistics, modeling, business analysis, and technology to transform high volumes of complex data into advanced analytic solutions. This position will lead the statistical improvement and maintenance of demand forecasting across the DRiV business unit. It supports integrating new technologies and processes the elimination of non-value-added technologies. The Data Scientist develops, maintains, and collects structured and unstructured data sets for modeling, hypothesis-testing, analysis, and reporting. Creates reports, projections, models, and presentations to support strategy and tactics. Decisions are typically related to implementing new/updated programs or large-scale projects for the function, supporting technical/operational procedures and processes, implementing strategic plans, driving goals and objectives, and improving performance while providing input into functions strategy.

Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Computer Science, Analytics, Mathematics or Statistics and/or a related field, and 4 or more years of experience. Experience leveraging large sets of structured and unstructured data to develop tactical and strategic insights. Experience developing and validating statistical forecasting models and tools. Experience interpreting and communicating analytic results to analytical and non-analytical business partners and executive decision-makers. Clear oral and written communication skills. Experience working with data cloud infrastructure like AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, etc. Experience performing data management, mining, and manipulation along with analytics.
