How will you make an impact in this role?
The Global Merchant Services France team (AEPE) is responsible for driving growth and strengthening loyalty within the American Express merchant network in France. Its mission is to ensure widespread acceptance of the American Express card across the entire French territory and all industry sectors.
In France, GMS Acquisition operates mainly through merchant recruitment Partners which help the company grow its network of accepting merchants. This must be executed through robust acquisition processes that adhere to local and European regulations applicable, as well as the Company’s internal policies.
In this context, the Head of Strategic Alliance Bank Partners is looking for his next “Data & project Analyst”.
The Analyst sits within the GMS Acquisition teams and will work with several internal partners such as the Business Operation, Partner Managers, Sales team, KYC Operations in order to:
Extract, consolidate, and analyze commercial portfolio data to support performance tracking and business reviews
Conduct KYC quality control checks to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
Produce recurring and ad hoc reports to monitor the performance of activity, and key KPIs
Support operational and cross-functional projects aimed at improving processes and AMEX merchant onboarding experience
Formalize procedures and ensure internal training
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge and experience of the local KYC/AML Regulatory environment will be a strong advantage.
Data driven with strong knowledge and skills with Excel, SQL Requests…
Project and/or analytical experience, ideally within financial services sector
Driven team player who loves challenges with a positive attitude and flexibility
Fluency in both English and French
Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively to ensure timelines are met and work volumes are managed
