In this role, you’ll be at the center of driving efficiency through designing and optimizing Smartsheet solutions such as templates, dashboards, reports, and automation, while also developing clear, actionable Power BI reporting. You’ll serve as a key partner to end users, helping them get the most out of these platforms by answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and translating requests into practical solutions. From resolving everyday challenges to coordinating with platform developers and enterprise COE teams on more complex needs, you’ll play an important role in ensuring our reporting tools are effective, user-friendly, and aligned with business goals. **Key Responsibilities:** **Smartsheet Development** + Configure and maintain Smartsheet assets including sheets, forms, reports, and dashboards. + Build and update standard templates (project trackers, intake requests, status reporting) to support consistent usage. + Create and maintain basic automations (alerts, reminders, approvals, update requests). + Update columns, formulas, and sheet structures to meet evolving business needs. + Perform routine enhancements and fixes such as adjusting reports, repairing references, updating dashboards, and managing permissions/share settings. + Maintain clear documentation and quick-reference guides for supported solutions. + Coordinate with Smartsheet admins / Tier 2 support for advanced items (enterprise governance, complex workflows, integrations, API work). **Power BI Development** + Build and maintain basic-to-intermediate Power BI reports and dashboards. + Create and refine data transformations using Power Query and support simple data modeling (relationships, measures). + Develop/maintain basic DAX measures (e.g., totals, averages, simple time intelligence as needed). + Support publishing practices such as workspace organization, dataset refresh checks, and permissions in alignment with governance. + Validate requirements and outputs with stakeholders to ensure reports are accurate and usable. **Tier 1 Support** + Serve as first-line support for platform questions and issues + Resolve common issues and escalate complex or systemic problems to Tier 2 admin team. + Maintain a knowledge base of FAQs, troubleshooting steps, and standard operating procedures. + Provide light enablement including quick trainings, office hours, and best-practice guidance to improve adoption and reduce repeat issues. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s Degree preferred + 1–3+ years hands-on experience with Smartsheet configuration and maintenance. + Experience creating basic workflows/automation in Smartsheet. + Working knowledge of Power BI including report building and Power Query; basic DAX familiarity. + Strong communication skills with the ability to explain solutions to non-technical users. + Organized and detail-oriented; able to document work and manage multiple requests. + Experience with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.) **Apply to SSC today!** _SSC is a member of Compass Group USA._ Click here to Learn More about the Compass Story (http://www.compass-usa.com/our-story/) **Associates at** **SSC** **are offered many fantastic benefits.** + Medical + Dental + Vision + Life Insurance/ AD + Disability Insurance + Retirement Plan + Paid Time Off + Holiday Time Off (varies by site/state) + Associate Shopping Program + Health and Wellness Programs + Discount Marketplace + Identity Theft Protection + Pet Insurance + Commuter Benefits + Employee Assistance Program + Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) + Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis + Paid Parental Leave + Personal Leave Associates may also be eligible for paid and/or unpaid time off benefits in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
