What this job involves
JLL’s, Work Dynamics Technology – Data Governance team is a newly established central organization that oversees JLLT data platforms and data products for our internal and external clients. We are seeking data governance professionals to work with JLLT colleagues around the globe in providing guidance and services for data governance, data structure, and data quality solutions for JLL enterprise and all future JLLT products.
We are seeking a Data Quality and Governance Analyst in the new Work Dynamics Technology – Data Governance team. She or he will be recommending Data Governance solutions to Work Dynamics Clients and Accounts and will be working with Transition Teams to effectively implement them according to defined priorities. The individual in this role will also document the current environment and business requirements for recommended enhancements.
As a Data Quality and Governance Analyst– Work Dynamics Technology, you will be directly responsible for performing the analysis and documenting data requirements for new clients and accounts, using Transition Data Enablement framework. This role combines project management, stakeholder management, data governance and data management capabilities and requires the ability to quickly understand and explore various data models, evaluate, and document business processes, and communicate findings and recommendations with account / transition leadership / client. This role is based in the EMEA Region. This position will report to EMEA Product Delivery Lead – Work Dynamics Technology in JLLT.
Specifically, this position will
Define cross-business data structures related to key data classes identified for the transitioning client. Lead end-to-end data workstream process by defining the project plan, dependencies, timelines and providing regular status updates to Transition Team. Coordinate data requirements gathering process and develop the data requirement documents. Perform Data Quality Assessment on client/incumbent data based on JLL data quality standards in transition mode. Consolidate attributes and standardize attributes against JLL mapping. Review existing data standards, classify these standards, define, and record relevant attributes, and document the data standards and communicate with the account team and the client. Responsible for documentation of business processes and standard operations related to Transition Data Enablement service.Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience
3 or more years of experience in querying data through SQL and significant experience working with SQL Server. 3 or more years of related experience in related industry; commercial real estate management preferred. 3 or more years of data management related experience such as Data Analysis, Data Governance, Data Quality any process and procedure design to ensure they tie into regulatory request. 2 or more years of business analyst related activities including gathering and developing comprehensive business requirements and developing implementation strategies. Able to work with large amounts of data to compare current workflow/process/procedures map into changes in regulatory requirement, etc. Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Management, MIS, Finance, Computer Science, or related fields; advanced degree preferred.Skills
Demonstrated information management, analytics, and data profiling skills. Relevant experience in risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and remediation will be helpful. Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills. Strong negotiation and group facilitation skills; ability to move a process forward, while meeting the needs of a variety of clients. Excellent managerial skills; collaborative, imaginative, resourceful, reliable, technically savvy. Good understanding of data quality management. Knowledge of data governance and how it impacts business processes. Knowledge of data management in a global environment, including data lifecycle and maintenance processes. Ability to work well under deadlines, ability to work in a multi-tasking production environment to make good judgments about competing priorities.Good to have Technical Skills
