Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is looking for someone to join the Flight Test Data Processing Team in Fort Worth.
This position is for a flight test data processing engineer. The candidate will be responsible for data operations for assigned programs. The candidate will interface with personnel in the development of data for aircraft flight test operations. Will work with LM instrumentation engineers to identify data processing needs and identify cost-saving solutions. The candidate must have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, and be able to work independently. Occasional extended hours and weekends are required.
Tasks include:
• Receive, process and troubleshoot IRIG 106 formatted data products per established processes.
• Coordinate with Instrumentation Engineering, Operations Engineering, IT
administration, and leadership on issues, status and capabilities.
• Diagnosis and resolution of problems encountered in the recovery of test data.
• Support IT assignments as required.
At this level the successful candidate will be provided on-the-job training to become familiar with the data processing field and be familiar with server system administration and desktop support. The candidate will continue actively working to expand his or her knowledge of the discipline and of specific tasking for career growth.

A level 2 employee Typically has 2 - 5 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
