Data Owner Lead - Home Lending
Join our team as a Data Owner Lead and play a pivotal role in delivering the firm's data strategy and promoting business growth. This position offers an exciting opportunity to integrate data and AI/ML priorities within the Chase MyHome Product. As a Data Owner Lead on the Home Lending Data Owner's Team, you will be responsible for integrating data and AI/ML priorities within the Chase MyHome Product. You will own and execute data strategies across the broader Product portfolio and analytics teams, playing a key role in delivering the firm's data strategy and promoting business growth. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data is well-documented, classified, and delivered in a manner consistent with the quality and safety requirements of the business. You will also partner with an Analytics Lead to support advanced analytics outcomes such as customer segmentation, machine learning, and personalization. **Job Responsibilities:** + Understand the customer's business needs and goals, ensuring all actions support them. + Advocate for the strategic consumption, creation, and publishing of data for one or more products as part of a formal Product Leadership team. + Identify critical data, including upstream, downstream, and data exchanges, for an assigned Product to ensure it is well-documented, classified, and delivered in a manner consistent with the quality and safety requirements of the business. + Partner with an Analytics Lead to identify data required to be integrated into analytics platforms to support advanced analytics outcomes such as customer segmentation, machine learning, and personalization. + Establish expectations for the required accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data within the Product, and remediate issues identified throughout the data life cycle in compliance with Firm-wide policies and standards. + Prioritize the data work in a Product's backlog and effectively drive teams toward a robust set of execution milestones to deliver quality data. + Manage processes to identify, monitor, and mitigate risks for data in a Product, including risks related to data protection, data retention and destruction, data storage, data use, and data quality. + Manage matrixed staff to execute specific data-related tasks. **Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:** + Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience in related and applicable data analytics functions. + Competent in many data technologies, with a broad background across data management and governance, big data platforms, or data architecture. + Excellent leadership skills related to product, programs, projects, teams, and employees. + Effectively influence people at all levels across business and technology functions. + Demonstrated ability to manage tight delivery timelines and ensure our products and organization are on track to execute and deliver strategic changes that meet our goals. + Knowledge of Agile (scrum) technical development methodologies and big data disciplines. + Structured thinker and effective communicator with the ability to crisply articulate complex technical concepts to senior audiences with poise and confidence. + Thrive in scrappy and collaborative working environments to manage delivery across multiple work streams with varying timelines, complexities, and competing priorities. **Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:** + Exhibit deep knowledge of the financial services industry and businesses. + Significant experience working with data warehousing, ETL, data quality concepts, BI/analytical tools, unstructured data, or machine learning. + Can profile, wrangle, and prepare data from disparate sources using tools like SQL, SAS, Python, Spark, Scala, or Alteryx, and know how to leverage them on your business partners' behalf. + MS Degree in a business or analytics-related field. **Note:** Relocation assistance is not offered/supported for this role.
