Data Management Analyst
Title: Data Management Analyst KBR’s Mission Engineering Division delivers complex technical solutions and expert support to the U.S. Department of Defense, specializing in modeling and simulation, cyber transformation, air vehicle mission integration, and lifecycle support. The Data Management Analyst (Exec Log) will support test and evaluation efforts within the Naval Air Warfare Division located in China Lake, CA. This role plays a key part in ensuring test events are accurately executed and properly documented, with a focus on collecting, organizing, and verifying technical test data. Working closely with engineers and program teams, the analyst will be responsible for supporting mission-critical testing that directly impacts program outcomes and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, technical accuracy, and the ability to collaborate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Roles and Responsibilities + Collect and organize test data from various test facilities for post-event analysis + Support engineers and customers during live test events by tracking data and ensuring requirements are met + Verify accuracy and completeness of data sets for each test series before, during, and after execution + Provide detailed photo documentation of all test configurations using DSLR or similar equipment + Ensure test events are executed according to direction from test engineers and customer expectations + Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot data issues or inconsistencies + Maintain logs and records related to test data and configurations + Work extended hours as required, including both indoor and occasional outdoor environments Basic Qualifications + U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance + Valid U.S. Driver’s License + Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience + Proficiency using Windows-based software including Microsoft Word and Excel + High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications + Prior experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or government programs + Familiarity with data logging or structured data entry practices + Experience using DSLR or other photography equipment for documentation + Previous work in a test range, lab, or technical field support setting Schedule: The typical schedule is 5:30 AM – 2:30 PM, following a 9/80 workweek (with every other Friday off). Basic Compensation: $23-$25/HR. This is an hourly, non-exempt position. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity. Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
