Job DescriptionAt Bosch we empower global collaboration through OpenDXM, our critical standard tool for exchanging diverse documents – from 3D CAD and drawings to software and office files. This platform securely connects external partners and internal Bosch Group entities worldwide.
As a Data Exchange IT Specialist, you'll join our globally distributed team (Germany, India, Brazil) to configure and operate OpenDXM. Your focus will be on extending the platform with new capabilities and continuously maturing its setup, directly optimizing its functional coverage, stability, and efficiency. This role offers you the chance to make a significant contribution to Bosch's global operations, working closely with our operations team to ensure seamless, secure data exchange.
We are looking for enthusiastic expert to join a highly skilled, global team and contribute your professional experiences in the following tasks:
Proactively monitor and troubleshoot DXM transactions and data exchange processes to identify and resolve incomplete data transfers, communication failures, and data discrepanciesAdminister user accounts, groups, and permissions within critical identity management systems (e.g., oneIDM) and data exchange platforms (e.g., OpenDXM)Closely collaborate with vendors, users and other stakeholdersManage and coordinate third-level support activities for OpenDXM, including escalating complex technical issues to vendor support, tracking resolutions, and managing vendor communicationsProvide expert second-level hotline support for all DXM related inquiries, resolving technical incidents and service requests promptly and efficientlyAutomate repetitive tasks, enhance system monitoring, and optimize data processing workflows by scripting skills in Windows scripting, Batch programming, and Oracle SQL (select, update).Proactively identify manual and inefficient processes within OpenDXM and the broader data exchange ecosystem, leading initiatives to Optimize & automate these operationsDrive continuous improvement by proposing and implementing solutions that enhance system efficiency, reliability, and user experienceMaintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guidesEnsure strict adherence to Bosch internal processes, security requirements, and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), including the regular review and update of data protection notices, terms of use, and audit logs.QualificationsEducation focused on IT and Data Science specializationExperience in Windows / Dos Batch programming to read, update and create automated checksKnowledge in oracle SQL (select + update) and basic Oracle DB knowledgeBasic Linux skillsConfidant customer communication skillsProactiveness and collaboration skillsFluency in EnglishGerman min B2 level as most of internal/external customers speak GermanAdditional InformationBosch’s culture of innovation and digital transformation offers you a fantastic platform to grow your skills and enhance your network.
