Description We are looking for a meticulous Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. This is a contract position that requires attention to detail and proficiency in managing large volumes of data. The ideal candidate will work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate competence in handling inventory-related data using Microsoft Excel. Responsibilities: • Input, verify, and update data into various systems with accuracy and efficiency. • Manage inventory data and ensure all records are up-to-date and organized. • Utilize Microsoft Excel features, such as vlookup and pivot tables, to manipulate and analyze data. • Maintain high standards of data confidentiality and security during processing. • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless data management and reporting. • Identify and correct any discrepancies or errors in entered data. • Adhere to established procedures and deadlines for data entry tasks. • Respond promptly to inquiries regarding data-related issues or requests. • Support administrative tasks related to inventory data tracking and reporting. Requirements • Proven experience in data entry with exceptional attention to detail. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including familiarity with vlookup and pivot tables. • Ability to manage numeric data accurately and efficiently. • Strong typing skills with high accuracy and speed. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies effectively. • Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members.
