Description We are looking for a meticulous Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Tallahassee, Florida. This short-term role, lasting approximately 4-6 weeks, will focus on transitioning critical data to a new medical record system. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a high level of accuracy to ensure seamless data entry and information management. Responsibilities: • Accurately input insurance and demographic details into the new medical record system. • Transfer patient information manually from the previous system to the updated platform. • Create and organize patient charts as part of the data migration process. • Collaborate with team members in a shared workspace to meet project deadlines. • Utilize American Medical Software and Insync systems during the transition. • Maintain a high level of precision and attention to detail while completing data entry tasks. • Ensure compliance with data protection standards and confidentiality. • Adhere to business casual dress code and workplace behavior that supports a positive environment. • Work efficiently within an 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule. • Support the team in achieving smooth system implementation. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in data entry or administrative roles. • Familiarity with medical industry processes and software is highly preferred. • Proficiency in typing and using 10-key skills with accuracy. • Ability to manage tasks using Microsoft Excel and Word effectively. • Strong organizational skills to handle large volumes of information. • Punctuality and reliability to meet work schedule demands. • Excellent attention to detail to ensure data accuracy. • Experience working in a collaborative environment with multiple screens is a plus.
