**Introduction** This is a role with a combination of data foundation, data fabric and reporting skills. This Job can be Performed from anywhere in the US. **Your role and responsibilities** * Lead the data engineering architecture and solutions, ensuring scalability, quality, and security. * Supervise and mentor the data engineering team, providing technical direction and best practices. * Oversee SAP data integration and transformation (FI/CO, BW, S/4HANA, ECC). * Design and optimize data pipelines using modern tools (ADF, AWS Glue, Informatica). * Manage cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure Synapse, and Databricks. * Ensure strong and reliable data models for BI tools (Power BI, SAC, Tableau). * Implement data governance standards, including metadata and security practices. * Partner with Finance to translate budgeting, forecasting, P&L, and journal processes into scalable data solutions. * Troubleshoot complex data issues and ensure data availability and reliability. * Drive continuous improvement and evaluate new technologies across the data ecosystem. **Required technical and professional expertise** Required Skills & Experience * 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with proven expertise in SAP data integration (FI/CO, BW, S/4HANA, or ECC). * Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and modern data pipeline tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, or Informatica). * Hands‑on experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Databricks, or similar). * Familiarity with finance and accounting processes — budgeting, forecasting, P&L, balance sheet, and journal data. * Experience designing data models for BI tools (Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau). * Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and security frameworks. * Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to data accuracy and business context.. **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Snowflake * Databricks * Denodo IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
