Data Engineer Sr - Contractor
Position Title: Tableau Developer Position Location: Pittsburgh, PA Provide locations/flexible work by preference: 2PNC Ability to work remote (If so, there will need additional approvals) : Hybrid remote 2-3 days in office Function of the Group: Combination of mitigating risk and cost reduction Initiatives/Projects: involved in technology reports across multiple areas across bank Industry background: Data technology and analytics Team Dynamic: 4 teams of approx 20 people from beginner to advanced in terms of data analytics Roles and Responsibilities: • A Tableau Developer who designs, develops, and maintains Tableau dashboards and reports to help organizations visualize and analyze data, ultimately driving data-driven decision-making. • Dashboard Design and Development: Creating interactive and user-friendly dashboards and reports using Tableau software. • Data Analysis and Visualization: Analyzing data from various sources, validating data accuracy, and transforming data into meaningful visualizations. • Collaboration and Communication: Working closely with business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate insights. • Performance Optimization: Optimizing Tableau dashboards for performance and usability, ensuring efficient data processing and rendering. • Testing and Quality Assurance: Conducting unit tests and ensuring the reliability and accuracy of Tableau solutions. • Problem Solving: Troubleshooting issues, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions. • Data Management: Connecting to and managing data sources, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL). Must Have Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and other relevant tools; strong understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes; experience with SQL and other database technologies.
