Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with strong experience in data integration and ETL pipeline development, particularly between Snowflake and diverse data sources. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQL, Python automation, and healthcare data standards, with a background in Managed Care or Value-Based Care environments.
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines for data integration between Snowflake and other systems.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data transformation and analysis.
- Develop automation scripts in Python to streamline data workflows and processes.
- Work with healthcare data formats such as EDI X12, HL7/FHIR, JSON, and APIs for claims and clinical data exchange.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with healthcare standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Payers and Providers to support Managed Care and Value-Based Care initiatives.
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering or integration roles.
- Strong proficiency in Snowflake, SQL, and Python scripting.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools and data pipeline orchestration.
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards (EDI X12, HL7/FHIR) and related APIs.
- Knowledge of Managed Care / Value-Based Care models and workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Exposure to data governance and compliance frameworks (HIPAA).
- Background in payer/provider systems and healthcare analytics.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Deployment Manager).
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
