**We are searching for the best talent for Data Engineer II to be in Ciudad Juarez.**
**Purpose:** The Data Engineer is responsible to construct datasets that are easy to analyze and support company requirements. Implement methods to improve data reliability and quality, combine raw information from different sources to create consistent and machine-readable formats. Also, develops and tests architectures that enable data extraction and transformation.
**You will be responsible for** **:**
In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
+ Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
+ Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
+ For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable.
+ Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
+ Performs other duties assigned as needed.
+ Utilizes effective business analyst techniques to translate what business may want to identification of what needed.
+ Writes, manages, and clarifies user stories and may develop uses cases for complex requirements.
+ Provides technical leadership, guidance, coaching and mentoring on high impact cross functional technical projects and to other professionals.
In addition to previous position responsibilities, this position:
+ Builds analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics.
+ Assembles large, complex data sets that meet business requirements.
+ Collaborates with data scientists and architects on several projects.
+ Creates data tools for analytics and data scientist team members.
**Qualifications / Requirements:**
EDUCATION
+ 2-4 years with degree in related field.
+ BS in Computer Science, Engineering or Similar.
+ Data Engineer certification in progress.
+ Intermediate English Level preferably.
JOB EXPERIENCE
+ 2-4 years as Engineer, Programmer or academic related experience with databases and data knowledge.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES and AFFILIATIONS
+ Database systems like SQL and NoSQL.
+ Data engineer/Data Science Certification or Equivalent.
+ Knowledge of Machine Learning Algorithms.
+ Experience visualizing complex data.
+ Knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
+ Ability to communicate insights to stakeholders.
+ Has basic knowledge on ERP configuration system.
+ Asset Management principles (OEE, Reliability, Condition based Maintenance approach).
+ Medical Device Regulations and Risk Analysis.
+ Capacity to successfully manage a pipeline of duties with minimal supervision.
+ Technical expertise with data models, data mining and segmentation techniques.
+ Advance working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, queries authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
+ Familiarity with business intelligence tools (such as Power BI).
