Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-based data pipelines that ensure high data availability, quality, and performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Data Governance and Analytics, contributing to robust data engineering standards and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, optimize, and maintain scalable data pipelines in a cloud environmentPerform peer code reviews and participate in data pipeline validation and verification activitiesContribute to the continuous improvement of data engineering standards, processes, and best practicesSupport internal customers by ensuring data availability, data quality, and optimal pipeline and dashboard performanceDevelop and maintain data quality frameworks, concepts, and toolingCollaborate with the Data Governance team to support the rollout and adoption of data quality concepts and toolsQualificationsEducation
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related fieldExperience
Proven experience working on data engineering projects in a professional environmentHands-on experience designing and maintaining data pipelines in the cloudExperience working with large datasets and distributed data processingTechnical Skills
High proficiency in Python and SQLStrong hands-on experience with PySparkExperience with Azure Databricks is a strong plusSolid understanding of software development principles (e.g., SOLID, clean code, version control)Soft Skills & Attributes
