**Your role and responsibilities**
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Data Engineer with expertise in Informatica IICS to join our support team. This role is responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining ETL workflows and data pipelines, ensuring seamless data movement across systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud-based ETL operations and a passion for solving data-related issues in real-time.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
Responsibilities
· Monitor daily ETL jobs and workflows in Informatica IICS, ensuring successful execution and timely resolution of failures.
· Provide L2/L3 support for data integration issues, including job failures, performance bottlenecks, and data discrepancies.
· Analyze root causes and implement fixes or workarounds for recurring issues.
· Collaborate with development teams to deploy and validate new ETL components.
· Maintain and update support documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
· Validate data accuracy and completeness across source and target systems.
· Perform reconciliation checks and escalate anomalies to appropriate teams.
· Support data governance initiatives by ensuring compliance with data handling standards.
· Work closely with business analysts, data architects, and application teams to understand data flows and dependencies.
· Generate operational reports and dashboards to track ETL performance and SLA adherence.
· Participate in incident management and change control processes.
Qualification
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
· 6+ years of experience in ETL support or data engineering roles.
· Hands-on experience with Informatica IICS (Cloud Data Integration, Cloud Application Integration).
· Strong SQL skills for data analysis and troubleshooting.
· Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS) and data warehousing concepts.
· Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills in English.
