This role directly impacts our clients and markets by ensuring the availability of high-quality data for analysis and insights, leading to better product development, improved customer experiences, and informed decision-making. **What’s in it for you:** + The opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and gain hands-on experience in Python, and AWS 'big data' technologies. + Exposure to cross-functional teams and collaboration with stakeholders from executive, product, data, and design teams, providing a chance to develop a broad understanding of the business and its various functions. + The potential for growth and development, with the chance to work on complex analytical projects, manage stakeholders, and take ownership of product deliverables. + The global nature of the role, offering the opportunity to work on data initiatives that have a wide-reaching impact and contribute to the company's position as an innovative industry leader. **Responsibilities:** + Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture + Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements + Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources using SQL/Python and AWS ‘big data’ technologies. + Work with stakeholders, including the Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams, to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs. + Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader. + Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems. + Handle project and stakeholder management activities and take full ownership of the quality and timeliness of product deliverables. **What We’re Looking For:** Key qualifications: + 3-6 years of experience in a data engineering role, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in large-scale data analytics toolsand Python. + Experience in performing root cause analysis on data and processes to identify areas for improvement. + Proficiency in building data transformation processes, data structures, and workload management. + Strong ability to manipulate and extract insights from large datasets. Nice to have: + Experience in GIS and spatial data + Interest in working in a variety of layers and technologies within development is a bonus.
