Job Description An employer in the Southern CA area is seeking a Data Engineer. This is a primarily remote position, with expectation to come on site in Orange County once every few months. Client prefers candidate to sit in Southern California, but is comfortable with them living anywhere in CA. This is a mid-senior level Data Engineer role. Candidate must bring proven expertise in building scalable data solutions and guiding data architecture decisions. Responsibilities include: -Design, build, and maintain data repositories and pipelines to support enterprise data strategy. -Collaborate with stakeholders to refine and execute a concrete vision for data architecture. -Develop and optimize ETL processes for cloud-based environments. -Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within a healthcare context. Support analytics and reporting initiatives by enabling efficient data access. Skills and Requirements Mid to senior level experience in a Data Engineer role (5+ years) Strong Cloud experience (prefers Microsoft Fabric but can have background in AWS, Azure, GCP) Familiarity with EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse) concepts Expertise in building and managing repositories and scalable data pipelines Strong python experience for data engineering and automation tasks Healthcare
