What Data Engineering contributes to Cardinal Health

The Data & Analytics Function oversees the analytics life-cycle in order to identify, analyze and present relevant insights that drive business decisions and anticipate opportunities to achieve a competitive advantage. This function manages analytic data platforms, the access, design and implementation of reporting/business intelligence solutions, and the application of advanced quantitative modeling.

Data Engineering ensures raw data is usable and accessible for the organization. Data Engineering encompasses numerous specialties of data acquisition, integration, and provisioning.

Responsibilities

Assist in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines.Support data movement and transformation using SQL and other tools.Prepare and analyze data to support business intelligence and reporting.Use Excel (formulas, Pivot Tables, Power Pivot, VBA) to manipulate and present data.A natural problem-solver who enjoys digging into data and finding solutions.Someone with experience working with data—whether through personal projects, or professional roles.Familiar with SQL, Excel and/or Python, or eager to learn and grow those skills.A self-directed learner who’s excited by new technologies and challenges.

Qualifications

4-8 years of experience, preferred

Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

Works on complex projects of large scope

Anticipated salary range: $94,900 - $135,600
