What you will do:
Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and store data from multiple sourcesOptimize data processing workflows for performance, reliability, and scalabilityImplement real-time and batch data processing using technologies like Apache Spark, Kafka, and DatabricksDevelop and manage data lakes, warehouses, and lakehouses (Azure Databricks)Ensure efficient data partitioning, indexing, and schema design for optimized query performanceWork with structured and unstructured data across SQL and NoSQL databasesImplement data validation, cleansing, and monitoring to ensure high-quality datasetsImplement data governance, security, and compliance policies (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)Maintain metadata management, data lineage, and documentation for data assetsDeploy and manage data solutions on cloud platforms (Azure, Databricks)Utilize serverless and distributed computing for large-scale data processingOptimize query performance, cost efficiency, and storage utilizationStay updated with the latest advancements in data engineering, cloud computing, and analytics technologiesPartner with data analysts, and software engineers to support analytics initiatives
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field8+ years of Data architecture or a related field, with a strong understanding of cloud-based data solutionsExtensive experience with data ingestion pathways including ADFProficiency in Python, SQL, or Scala for data processingExperience with cloud data services (Azure Data Factory, Databricks)Hands-on experience with big data frameworks (Apache Spark, Hadoop, Databricks)Strong knowledge of data modeling, database optimization, and API-based data integrationProficiency in designing and implementing Medallion ArchitectureWork visa sponsorship is not available for this position

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 - $148,000 (+ 10-15% bonus) in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
