Data Engineer

Help transform and secure the future of naval intelligence. Leidos is hiring a Data Engineer to support the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) across key national security sites in the National Capital Region. This is a hands-on opportunity to lead the migration, testing, and modernization of critical intelligence systems as part of a collaborative, high-impact mission.

Primary Responsibilities:

Support efforts in data migration, integration, and transformation from legacy environments to enterprise systemsValidate requirements, evaluate transition plans, and conduct end-to-end system testingEnsure legacy data conforms to accuracy, formatting, and classification standards in new dissemination toolsBuild and support advanced workflows to facilitate future product deliveryCustomize front-end site experiences to align with official branding and user needsProvide data analytics support and troubleshoot system connectivity issues across departmentsDevelop comprehensive documentation and user guides for senior leadership and stakeholders

Basic Qualifications:

Clearance: Active DoD TS/SCICertification: IAT Level II or higher (e.g., Security+ CE) or the ability to obtain within 30 days of an offer acceptance.Education: Bachelor’s with 4+ years of relevant experience or Master's with 2+ years of experience. Additional experience, trainings, or certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.Experience:4+ years with data archiving, migration, and SharePoint admin/developmentValidating and evaluating disparate intelligence requirementsCollaborating with developers and translating technical info for non-technical usersSkills Snapshot:Proficient in JSON, HTML, and modern web frameworksPractical testing/documentation experience for enterprise systemsExcellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder engagement

Pay Range:Pay Range $85,150.00 - $153,925.00
