Data Engineers are responsible for the development of ETL jobs that provides/process information to/from businesses within the Bank and its partners. Experts in Azure Data Factory and have an in-depth knowledge on Cloud solutioning and data lineage technologies. Strong skills on SQL Server programming. Solid experience on ETL tools such as SSIS and similar technologies. These professionals are experts in data processes such as aggregating, cleansing and enrichment, lookup and referencing, pivoting and grouping, and process optimization with on-point compliance to security and CAB (Change Admin Board) standards.
In this role you will:
Ability to resolve highly complex, multi-faceted problems to meet business needs, provide recommendation on the design and methodologies, system solutions. Provide business support to all units globally, including new and existing portfolios, ad hoc queries, and assisting with the design and implementation of systems enhancements. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that management is kept informed and that problems and issues are escalated appropriately. Provide input to the continuous improvement of processes and adopting latest technologies and methodologies. Ability to Liase with different teams to fix data quality issues. Co-ordinate and follow up with various other different teams, vendors and third party for issue resolution. Work with Infrastructure teams to co-ordinate infrastructure/environment related upgrades, patches and migration activities. Ensure the documentation of issues, solutions, root cause and findings for use in future problem resolutions. Development techniques, such as debugging, testing, coding, use of version control tools like TFS. Performance tuning skills is a must DevOps process oriented Provide L1/L2/L3 support for ETL processes built on Azure Data Factory and legacy systems such as SSIS, DataStage and Stored Procedures
