Data Engineer - 100% Remote - PST Hours

Overview
Seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, implement, and optimize large-scale data lake and audience data platforms. This role involves building resilient pipelines, migrating foundational datasets, and ensuring interoperability across cloud data environments.

Must-Have Qualifications

5+ years of data engineering experience with large-scale data lakes and cloud platforms.Hands-on expertise with Databricks, PySpark, and Snowflake (S3/GCP).Strong experience with Google BigQuery and data pipeline development.Proven track record in data migration and building scalable, resilient pipelines.Solid understanding of data contracts, metadata management, and replication strategies.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work within structured processes and security frameworks.

Nice to Have

Experience supporting advertising, media, or audience data platforms.Familiarity with multi-cloud environments and cross-platform integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement an open-format data lake with Databricks, PySpark, Snowflake, and BigQuery.Build and maintain a unified audience store with robust contracts, pipelines, and replication strategies.Migrate foundational datasets and pipelines to a cloud-based Databricks environment.Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure platform interoperability and adherence to best practices.Support performance tuning, optimization, and documentation for long-term scalability.
