You support system activities in a specific process area, including analysis, design, and overseeing the implementation of system changes to increase effectiveness and efficiency aligned with corporate strategies.

How you will contribute

Working in a cross-functional environment, you will collaborate closely with global and regional teams to optimize SAP and integrated non-SAP systems and processes, translating business needs into functional requirements. You will define what the capability must achieve and how success will be measured and ensure that solutions are robust, strategically aligned and efficient to deliver and maintain. To succeed in this role, you must understand integration points in an integrated ERP system (i.e. SAP ECC), standalone, SAAS, and control systems and effectively interact with senior management from business and technology disciplines to keep them informed and to present highly complex solutions.

What you need to know about this position:

Take part of the creation, and enhancements of the LA Finance Data Lake products as a data engineer, developing data ingestion pipelines to bring data from transactional solutions into the Mondelez analytical environment hosted on Google Cloud Platform, and create tables and views with KPIs, metrics and calculations to support the LA Finance team.

Main responsibilities:

1. Develop ingestion pipelines using Talend, Aecorsoft, Pyhthon and Stored Procedures on Big Query, to curate the data and apply required transformations to deliver consumable data products.
2. Design data models based on business requirements specifications and define consumable data products for reusability.
3. Responsible for enabling a robust solution design, strategically aligned and efficient to deliver and maintain, ensuring data integrity and quality.
4. Research and propose solutions to overcome technical challenges. 
5. Implements best practices to constantly improve performance, resources consumption and availability of the data, taking into consideration long term strategic goals.
6.  Troubleshoots and implements solutions to complex requirements.
7. Creates and maintains plans to best enable longevity and performance of systems architecture and deliver key business drivers.
8. Collaborates with the relevant partners and stakeholders to ensure project and operational performances are met.

What extra ingredients you will bring:

1. Strong and proven experience working with data engineering, coding data ingestion pipelines in cloud native platforms
2. Proven experience working with Data Analytics in Google Cloud, using Talend, Python and Stored Procedures. Experience with Data Bricks and Power BI and Tableau is desired. 
3. 5-7 years of experience as a developer and experience handling large data volumes, implementing streaming and batch ingestions, with release management understading and experience using DevOps frameworks as GitHub.
4. Understanding of Big Data best practices and solutions, with overall domain of data key disciplines as data modelling, data governance, data quality, master data management, analytics architecture and advanced analytics, with an up to date background of best in class practices, to bring that perspective to MDLZ 
5. Experience working with agile squads and general project management skillset, including risk management.
6. Demonstrated ability to understand Finance key performance metrics and ensure continuous improvement of  processes enabled by technology. Previous experience working with Finance, SAP and CPG segment is a plus.
7. Ability to work with ambiguity and diverse stakeholders, in multicultural global environment across multiple time zones
