Duties and Responsibilities:
Participate in the administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Intelligent Cloud Services environments to ensure high availability and performance.
Participate in the performance of regular upgrades, security patches, and system health checks.
Participate in activities to resolve issues and optimize ETL/ELT workflows.
Participate in the design and development of interactive dashboards and reports to provide actionable data insights.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data visualization requirements and translate them into meaningful metrics and KPIs.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data presented in business reports.
Participate in the development and optimization of database queries, stored procedures, and database designs to support business requirements.
Participate in database administration tasks, including performance tuning, backup, recovery, and security maintenance.
Actively monitor database health and support the identification and prioritization of opportunities for improvements to existing processes and procedures, to ensure system reliability.
Act as a shared resource supporting Data Governance, Data Enablement (ETL/ELT/Data Engineering), and Data Insights initiatives.
Participate in the integration of data quality controls into technical processes and workflows.
Participate in the collaboration activities with IT and other business teams to align projects with the company's strategic data vision.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to capture data requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Proactively communicate updates, challenges, and opportunities to stakeholders across departments.
Participate in the ongoing training and knowledge-sharing practices to drive data literacy and best practices within the organization.
Participate in the identification of areas requiring process optimization and participate in initiatives to improve productivity and performance.
Participate in the development and maintenance of system health metrics, KPI's, and reporting dashboards.
Demonstrate support for continuous improvement within the team by contributing to ongoing training and development. In addition, participate in job shadowing, knowledge-sharing activities, process and system training initiatives, and any interdepartmental development opportunities, as applicable.
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
The post holder will have 5-7 years of relevant experience (or equivalent work experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Engineering degree in Science, Computer Science or Data Analytics (or equivalent)
