Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Data Solutions Architect:
Translate business requirements into normalized, denormalized, star-schema, or other data models according to project needs.
Model data beyond tabular formats, including columnar, graph, geospatial, time-series, and document-based structures.
Design architectures that address key qualitative requirements such as performance, scalability, elasticity, and advanced analytics.
Define and implement reference data architectures aligned with enterprise data strategies.
Develop frameworks for how data is acquired, stored, integrated, consumed, and managed across Data Lakes, MDM, and Data Marts.
Establish observability metrics for DataOps pipelines, datasets, and data quality (availability, freshness, anomalies, schema changes, data drift, etc.).
Apply best practices in data governance, lineage, quality, metadata management, and master data management.
Ensure compliance with data security and regulatory requirements in all data architecture designs.
Contribute to the strategic alignment between enterprise architecture, systems architecture, data architecture, and business objectives.
Support Celonis platform maintenance and enhancements, including process analyses and reports.
Execute corrections, improvements, and the inclusion of new processes in Celonis
Qualifications
15+ years of experience in roles related to data architecture and strategic IT initiatives.
Knowledge of the Energy & Utilities sector and GDPR regulations.
Experience working in collaborative, global environments with Agile methodologies, JIRA, and Confluence.
Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
Up-to-date knowledge of databases, analytics technologies, and architectures (Data Lake/Lakehouse, NoSQL).
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
Familiarity with data governance, security, metadata management, data catalogs, and master data management practices.
Knowledge of machine learning techniques and statistical models (classification, regression, time series analysis, etc.).
Experience with Big Data technologies (BigQuery, Azure Synapse, AWS RedShift, Cassandra, Couchbase, HDFS).
Certification in Celonis and proven experience with Celonis implementations.
Fluency in English (mandatory); Portuguese and Spanish are valued.
Based in Portugal (local resources required).
