CGI is seeking a skilled Data Developer with strong PL/SQL, Python, and Snowflake experience to support high-impact data integration and analytics in the investment risk space.

This is a Full Time Employment Opportunity located in Merrimack, NH or Boston, MA. in a Hybrid Model
• Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using PL/SQL, Python, and Snowflake.
• Design and implement data integration solutions between various internal systems and external data sources.
• Collaborate with Risk and Quantitative teams to understand data needs related to risk pricing, exposure calculations, and performance metrics.
• Create and manage complex stored procedures, functions, and scripts in Oracle and Snowflake environments.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems.
• Monitor data jobs and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks or failures.
• Assist in the migration of legacy systems to cloud-based platforms like Snowflake.
• Contribute to the development of data models that support analytics and reporting needs in the investment risk space.
• Follow best practices for data security, quality, and governance.
• 6+ years of software development experience
• Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL development including, complex queries/stored procedures/functions/triggers etc.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize SQL queries for performance.
• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data integration workflows.
• Experience working with large datasets and complex data models.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake – writing SQL, managing data pipelines etc.
• Basic Python scripting, automation, and data manipulation.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to demonstrate thoughtful and informed points of view, backed by research and analysis, while remaining open to feedback and collaborative decision-making. Bring innovative ideas forward, yet aligns with team consensus and organizational goals.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $68,100.00 - $150,800.00.
