Purpose of the job

Building Orange data marketing strategies, plans, and roadmaps. Increasing Orange data revenues by leading the growth of the 4G data penetration and traffic.

Responsible for the negotiations with NTRA regarding any new product launch or promotion related to the data segment. Responsible for the data products pricing and data revenue booking.

Duties and responsibilities

Build the strategy to differentiate Orange 4G positioning in the Egyptian market, focusing on being the fastest 4G network in Egypt. The strategy is evolving around Orange 4G and how to use it to achieve more internet users, data revenues as well as data traffic. Analyze data based on previous internet growth trends within Orange, adding to it 4G launch results in other countries within the group. In addition to market dynamics related to mobile data and future technologies. Lead the development of value propositions for acquiring new 4G customers, and take it through the whole process of commercialization till reaching the market. Define and manage potential data segments in order to lead the process of creating suitable value propositions targeting each segment to help increase data traffic and revenues across the whole customer base. Manage communication team to ensure efficient product launches with right messaging and best reach including ATL, BTL, social, and digital. Manage several cross-functional teams involved in data-related projects ensuring successful product launches as well as post-launch remedial actions and product enhancements. Manage the "go-to-market" process and own overall customer experience ensuring best customer satisfaction. Support retail and channel management teams to develop tailored value propositions with commission schemes aligned with the data market KPIs and planned activities. Manage marketing activities related to mobile broadband, including pricing, promotions, sales initiatives, communication, and customer experience to boost 4G data traffic. Responsible for submitting annual budget forecast with the budgeting team, in terms of subscribers, data revenues, and traffic; along with the planned projects. Design a 5-year plan for any strategic move, such as 4G. Monitor and analyze market norms, trends, and changes related to consumer behavior and competition as well as the progress and achievements of organizational KPIs. Responsible for requesting market research related to the data segment to help deliver attractive value propositions. Manage and monitor the reporting of the data segment by creating automated dashboards, to be able to track internet performance on daily, weekly, and monthly basis in terms of bucket subscriptions, data revenues, data traffic, data package base, ARPU/AUPU for internet users, and effective MB price. Manage the reporting requirements of the data segment in case of any new launch or any major changes to make sure no negative impact on the reporting. Lead the team to build reporting models to give better visibility of the performance of the data segment and areas to focus on. This helps in spotting the areas which need enhancement, in order to work on developing new offers and promotions to enhance its performance. Responsible for business reviews related to the data segment: weekly ExCom reviews, monthly business reviews with Orange Group, quarterly business reviews with Orange Group. Track customers who turned to silent data users in order to work in parallel with the team to target those customers with specific projects. Responsible for the negotiations with NTRA regarding any new product launch or promotion related to the data segment. Handle letter submissions to NTRA and make sure they are done on time. Follow up with regulatory team to acquire needed approvals prior to launch. Responsible for aligning with finance on revenue booking related to any new products, to make sure data revenues are booked correctly and reported in the monthly corporate reports. Review business cases for the team to ensure business case assumptions and inputs, as well as its profitability. Align with pricing team in order to approve business cases prior to proceeding with the development. Job specification
