Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Center Technician to support the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of data center hardware. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for technology and hands-on problem-solving. Key Responsibilities: + Prepare, stage, and set up hardware (racks, hard drives, switches) following detailed instructions and safety protocols. + Perform startups and shutdowns, post-execution quality checks, and verify proper grounding, labeling, and cabling. + Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues, replacing faulty components as needed. + Decommission and refresh hardware (e.g., memory upgrades, OS rebuilds) with minimal supervision. + Monitor systems for equipment failures or performance errors and respond appropriately. + Assist in testing and debugging new programs in collaboration with programmers and analysts. + Operate software tools (e.g., spreadsheets) to manage data and generate reports. + Communicate and escalate incidents to team leads as per standard procedures.
